Visit katasterportal.sk and search by cadastral district (katastrálne územie) and parcel number (číslo parcely) or owner name. The portal provides unofficial extracts free of charge. For certified official extracts, visit a cadastre office, use a notary or advokát, or submit an authenticated request through authorised channels.
A vecné bremeno is an easement — a right attached to the property rather than to a person. Common examples include rights of way, utility access routes, and rights to use a water source. Easements pass with the property when it is sold. Review each easement carefully with your lawyer to understand whether it affects your intended use of the property.
Standard registration (vklad) takes up to 30 days from the date the application is received. An expedited procedure (urýchlená) is available for twice the standard administrative fee and is typically processed within a few working days. Your advokát or notár will advise on which procedure is appropriate for your transaction.
